Odi

Carlos “Odi” Castillo is a veteran American junglist, DJ, promoter, and label owner who helped shape the East Coast and NYC jungle sound from the mid-1990s. Raised in Harlem, he brought hip-hop sensibilities into his jungle sets, co-founded Digital Konfusion and its record label in 1997, held a long residency at NYC’s Konkrete Jungle, and in 2003 was initiated into the Zulu Nation, described as the first junglist to enter the organization. Affiliated with Drum and Bass Proper, he has appeared for Proper Chicago at Emporium Wicker Park’s Junglistic night alongside DJ Intel and Zebo, in a B2B2B with Mister Shifter and DJ Troll, and across Proper’s Twitch broadcasts.
